Getting to Waiheke Island.
There are two main methods of getting to and from Waiheke Island, The car ferry (or the barge for the old timers) or one of the passenger ferries.
Car ferry service is provided by Sealink. Services run between Half Moon Bay and Kennedy Point Waiheke and less regularly between Wynyard Wharf and Kennedy Point Waiheke.
Although pre booking is not essential we recommend you pre-book of you are taking a vehicle to avoid disappointment as some sailing times are heavily booked.
Visit Sealink’s website for more details. www.sealink.co.nz
The car ferry also provides a walk on passenger service. There are ni buses or chuttles that meet the sealink ferry so ensure you have made prior arrangements
Fullers are ferries run passenger ferries from the downtown ferry termial to Matiatia. Fares and timetables are available on the fullers website
Once you are on the island.
